OPTIGEL

Preservative-Free and Phosphate-Free Sterile Multi-Dose Eye Drops

The eyes may become dry due to factors such as prolonged use of computers and other digital screens, unfavorable environmental conditions including air pollution, aging, or contact lens wear. Dry eye may be accompanied by symptoms such as burning, itching, foreign body sensation, irritation, eye fatigue, and discomfort.

Natural tears play an essential role in maintaining the moisture and health of the ocular surface. When tear quantity or quality is insufficient, the eye surface is not adequately lubricated, resulting in dry eye symptoms that may interfere with daily activities.

Optigel® Eye Drops provide long-lasting hydration to the ocular surface and help relieve symptoms associated with dry eyes. The active ingredient in this formulation is sodium hyaluronate, a naturally occurring substance with a high capacity for water retention.

By increasing ocular surface hydration, supporting tear film stability, and reducing friction between the eyelids and the eye surface, sodium hyaluronate enhances ocular comfort. Regular use of Optigel® helps maintain eye surface moisture and alleviate symptoms associated with dry and tired eyes.

  • ●  Do not use this product if you are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients.

    ●  Optigel® is preservative-free and therefore suitable for frequent and long-term use, reducing the likelihood of preservative-related irritation. However, as with any ophthalmic product, rare allergic reactions or local irritation such as burning, itching, redness, or increased tearing may occur. If any of these symptoms or any unusual discomfort develops, discontinue use and consult your physician or pharmacist.

  • Use Optigel® as directed by your physician. Otherwise, instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s). Its preservative-free formulation is safe for daily use and may be applied as often as needed.

    1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before use. Hold the bottle as illustrated.

    2.  Remove the protective cap. Avoid touching the dropper tip with your fingers, eyes, or any other surface.

    3. Turn the bottle upside down so that it is held completely vertical. During first use, it may be necessary to press the pump several times before the first drop is released.

    4. Tilt your head slightly backward and gently pull down the lower eyelid with a finger to create a small pocket.

    5.  Hold the bottle above the eye and gently press the side actuator to release one drop. Do not allow the dropper tip to come into contact with the eye.

    6.  After instillation, close your eye for a few seconds and move it gently to distribute the solution evenly across the ocular surface.

    7. Replace the protective cap immediately after use.

    * Due to the pump technology used in this product, particularly during first use, several actuations may be required before a drop is released. Users may mistakenly assume the bottle is defective; however, the pump system must first be primed and the bottle must be held fully upside down.

    * Optigel® contains 10 mL of sterile solution, providing approximately 200 uniform drops. Owing to the design of the dispensing system, a small amount of solution may remain in the bottle and cannot be dispensed.

  • One 10 mL bottle of sterile ophthalmic solution and a patient information leaflet packed in a cardboard box.
