Composition
Sodium Hyaluronate 25 mg / 1 mL
Indications
Lunagel® is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel designed to correct small skin defects, such as wrinkles or scars.
In particular, the following uses are recommended:
Lunagel® 2.5% for the treatment of deep facial wrinkles, lip enhancement, wrinkles around the lips and facial contouring.
Contraindications
Lunagel® must not be used:
● Eyelids, eye sockets
● For injection into blood vessels
● For breast augmentation, or for bone, tendon, ligament or muscular implantation
● Simultaneously with laser treatment, deep chemical peels or dermabrasion. For surface peels, it is recommended not to inject the product if the inflammatory reaction generated is significant.
Lunagel® must not be administered to patients:
● With ascertained tendency to develop hypertrophic or keloid scars or pigmentation disorders
● With previous active autoimmune diseases or those under immunotherapy
● With serious multiple allergies, active inflammations or infectious processes (acne, herpes, etc.)
● With coagulation disorders
● With known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid
● With untreated epilepsy
● Suffering from porphyria
Dosage and Administration
Dosage depends on the skin condition of the patient and depth of the treated area.
Optimal results may be obtained by repeating the treatment regularly over time, considering the various factors that contribute to the duration of the effects of the injections, such as lifestyle, physical activity, sunlight exposure or tanning lamps, age and appropriate filling technique.
